INTRON® dClean 2520 is blend of organic compounds (polymers) in organic solvents
APPLICATION
INTRON® dClean 2520 is a multipurpose additive which is used to improve the quality of diesel fuel. At the recommended dosage, INTRON® dClean 2520 provides diesel fuel with the following performance features:
- Removal of existing injector deposits and keeping the injector nozzles clean
- COMMON RAIL “clean up” & “dirty out” effect
- Protection of the fuel system against corrosion
- Excellent water separability
- Significant increase of the fuel cetane number
- Increase diesel fuel lubricity
Recommended treat rate: 500-750 ppm
INTRON® dClean 2520 does not affect other diesel fuel properties such as cold flow properties or color of the fuel and does not interfere with other additives used in diesel fuel treatment

STORAGE AND HANDLING
INTRON® dClean 2520 can be stored and handled at temperatures from 40°C to 50°C. Carbon steel, stainless steel, fluorinated polyethylene or Teflon can be used for storage tanks and injection systems. The use of rubber and of polystyrene must be avoided
INTRON® dClean 2520 is stable for at least 1 year under normal conditions.
HAZARD IDENTIFICATION
Harmful: may cause lung damage if swallowed. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Vapours may cause drowsiness and dizziness. Toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment
SAFETY
When using this product, the information and advice given in our Safety Data Sheet should be observed. Due attention should also be given to the precautions necessary for handling chemicals
Chemical resistant protective gloves (EN 374) Suitable materials also with prolonged, direct contact (Recommended: Protective index 6, corresponding > 480 minutes of permeation time according to EN 374): fluoroelastomer (FKM) – 0.7 mm coating thickness Polyethylene-Laminate (PE laminate) – ca. 0.1 mm coating thickness Suitable materials short-term contact and/or splashes (recommended: At least protective index 2, corresponding > 30 minutes of permeation time according to EN 374) nitrile rubber (NBR) – 0.4 mm coating thickness Supplementary note: The specifications are based on own tests, literature data and information of glove manufacturers or are derived from similar substances by analogy. Due to many conditions (e.g. temperature) it must be considered, that the practical usage of a chemical-protective glove in practice may be much shorter than the permeation time determined in accordance with EN 374. Manufacturer’s directions for use should be observed because of great diversity of types
